How can I improve my OCD?

I had the symptoms of OCD since I was a child, now I 22. I also have panic attacks very bad. I thought it was my blood pressure or something like that since I more weight, but I'm beginning to think its something else. My OCD is to check the locks on doors, cabinets for the opening of "intruders" and call a specific person to check on them constantly. I know I sound stupid, but I could not help.
