1. Antidepressants:

Other drugs used to treat panic disorder include beta-blockers, anticonvulsants, atypical antipsychotics, and antihistamines.
3. THERAPY:
Treatment as recommended in the treatment of panic disorder is cognitive-behavioral therapy or CBT, a form of psychotherapy. Two recent studies have shown that CBT alone to be as effective for treating panic disorder as a combination of CBT and drugs.
Other therapies or combination therapies may also be considered. These include: psychotherapy, exposure therapy (a form of behavioral therapy), therapy of virtual reality exposure (VRET), desensitization of eye movements and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), the rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), and psychoanalytic therapy.
4. Of Self Help methods.
For various reasons, many people choose to use these methods when overcome with panic disorder. Panic disorder should be diagnosed by a mental health professional or out to eliminate possible causes physical and other psychiatric disorders like depression.
Many self-help methods are similar to those that were learned in a CBT, and may be more effective for learning these methods with a trained therapist that CBT will ensure that methods are used correctly and may also provide the much needed motivation. A self-help books good instructions also complete and self-help methods, but again, the motivation is often a problem if the practice these exercises on their own.

Hyperactivity?
8 months ago I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, panic attacks, and depression. Tnakfull drugs and psychotherapy, I feel much better now, it's not normal. But still sometimes, like today, for example, I was so hyperactive, I feel I can not sit still, and I must do something, but have no idea why. I wonder if this is still a symptom of anxiety? Or is it something else? Why I feel this way? I also understand that hyperactivity in the space of a month before my time. Is it PMS? Pls help if you have an idea about this, because I really boring. And have you any idea how to end this feeling? Thanx a lot
I would check two drugs side "effects. It may be anxiety. It is doubtful that the PMS, PMS is often a lack of energy. You may want to consult your doctor or therapist to be sure. I have ADHD and I use the exercise (especially aerobic routines as they must focus on "I'm doing this right") as a means of having things in my mind and ventilation hyperactivity.
