What to do if you feel a panic attack coming Part 1: Demon analogy
Note: The following is for informational purposes only. Evaluation and treatment should always be led by one-on-one consultation with a qualified professional.
One of my favorite questions, and many obviously one of the most important for people trying to take control of panic.
There are essentially two options for what to do if you feel a panic attack coming. The first is to use a coping technique. The second is to make a presentation. And yes, I'll explain what are the coping techniques and exhibitions are! But first, let's start with my favorite analogy:
The analogy Demon
Panic disorder can be regarded as a demon. There are two ways to fight against this particular demon. The first way is to use your Shield – Use your shield, the use of drugs (like Xanax), leaving the situation for some time to calm down, using techniques relaxation and / or speak their thoughts down very worried. In the next section, I describe these coping techniques indicating their advantages and disadvantages. But along with his shield, he is also a second way to fight against this particular demon – It seems that every time you face Devil in the head, it weakens. Every time I challenge becomes smaller. This is where the exhibition come in. The exhibits are the use tables on the devil jump on him, hard, and say "go. Is this all you got? "
Initially, most coping techniques are the only ones not really strong enough to prevent a panic attack. For example, you can try to relax to stop a panic attack, but it is not just work. The devil is so great that just slide the "shield" on one side. However, usually after one to two months to begin to deal with the devil (ie exhibitions), the devil has become so small that the techniques of shielding, we begin to work! And after several months of exposure, the devil is usually so small that no longer comes around and eventually die.
These tactics combined use your shield, and regularly confronts a headache will help you gain control of panic once and for all. If you learn these techniques (A type of treatment known as cognitive-behavioral therapy) is likely to finally enjoy going out with friends, driving your car, fled abroad, and enjoy a sunny day at the beach without having to worry about more panic.

I use prescription drugs for chronic depression and panic attacks and the addition of works of marijuana, no?
It Xanax Effexor and chronic depression and panic attacks, but not enough. Addition of marijuana also works better, would be a candidate for Medical marijuana?
Xanax has almost destroyed my husband. He had a chronic medical condition that caused him great concern, and spoke with a psychiatrist prescribed Xanax to relieve anxiety. In two weeks, I was living with another person entirely. It was horrible scary. It has become extremely paranoid and anxiety turned to panic attacks total right, something he had never had before. Finally, I saw another doctor, who said he was very likely that the Xanax. Things apparently have a half-life, and finally, (In the case of my husband is a very short time) is not only addicted to it, but start going through withdrawal before the next dose symptoms worsen. It seems that the doctor knew the guy who initially discovered / invented Xanax, who now wishes he had never put on the market … but stresses big pharma is safe … Just can not stop taking it, or without risking full-fledged psychosis. You have to wean very, very slowly – it took my husband three months! Some doctors prescribe valium to help with withdrawal. Now, my husband smokes weed when you feel the need of calmness and relaxation. Not more than pharmaceutical drugs, is too paranoid of them today. It will never touch another anti-depressant "or" Anti Anxiety Drugs of this boat. I know another person who for years has managed to combine the pot too and Prozac for chronic depression. Again, not a drug that can stop drinking, but does not seem to have problems with the horrible we found with Xanax.
