I had a panic attack last Thursday, but I do not know why?

Hello I have a question that had a panic attack, Thursday Last, and A is the first time this has happened had happened after I woke up and went to shower after shower, I felt dizzy, heavy breathing, as I just finished the race, I almost fainted, but I was sitting in the lounge and the panic went away. Why do I have a panic attack?

Typically, a panic attack is caused by the mind to react to physical stimuli. I bet the hot shower in combination with some light disorientation that comes from waking up was to blame. Wheezing, probably did not help either as you've probably hyperventilating (which many physical symptoms as well as for your mind to react excessively.) You do the wrong thing, however. Sitting quietly and reassure you that this will be a great way to stop a panic attack.
