A panic attack is a sudden surge of fear and overwhelming anxiety, often without clear reason and without notice. This can happen to anyone regardless of age, health and status. Many of these attacks are a bit isolated, but some people experience recurrent episodes. Recurrent episodes are often caused by a "trigger" – How to speak before a crowd or make a presentation at work. Panic attacks may be part of another disorder, like depression, panic disorder or social phobia. However, they are generally harmless, but the victims still feel that your life is in danger. Signs and symptoms

Panic Disorder

Recurrent panic attacks with persistent anxiety for future attacks, and significant changes in performance can be seen as a panic disorder. There are two symptoms of panic disorder: (1) and avoidance phobic (2) anticipatory anxiety.
Phobic avoidance – When you start to avoid certain things or situations based on conviction that would lead to another attack. Also can avoid the situations that caused the first attack. You can also avoid places or situations where escape is difficult and help is available, such as riding an elevator or an airplane. Extreme case of avoidance behavior can lead to agoraphobia.
The anticipatory anxiety – fear of fear or fear of future panic attacks. The person that this symptom is usually tense and anxious. When ignored, the disease can be debilitating.
Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia
Agoraphobia is always believed that fear of open spaces or in public places, therefore, literally means "Fear of the market." However, it is now believed that agoraphobia is the fear of panic attacks in a place where help is difficult to escape, or where it would be difficult.
People with agoraphobia tend to avoid situations or activities:
• Being away from home
• Training
• The interior where there is a possibility of being taken trap (lift, theaters, public transportation, shops)
• Go see the "person of insecurity" or someone he or she is not comfortable to be with.
• places where it would be embarrassing to have a panic attack as the parties and other social gatherings.
In severe cases, people suffering from agoraphobia see their home as the only safe place.
