citalopram versus fluoxetine?

I suffer from panic disorder and we have tried various herbal treatments that all work short term, but to disappear. My doctors gave me fluoxetine (Prozac), who worked for the first 2 weeks, then sent me into a deep depression. I did not see anyone out of bed, or even go to work. And I often thought about suicide. After calling to my mother that I leave the Prozac. I had several retreats, but he came back to life. Now I started having my seizures Panic again, seems to rule my life. My doctor gave me Citalopram. I fear that if you start taking it, its going to make me feel depressed serious still. Ive just started a new relationship and the last thing I want is to blow it by not wanting to see him – or someone else elsewhere. Does anyone have any advice? I know everyone has different experiences, but it would be good to have an idea of the opportunity to test or not?

I suffered panic attacks for many years. The only thing I found is antidepressants and therapy. Prozac is an antidepressant is not good, has many side effects that you have been feeling. Try Zoloft or paxal, both are very good for depression. If you have a friend you can count on it sometimes helps to talk to someone, you get some of the depressed do things his chest help. It feels better, I hope this helps.
