How to transfer music from your iPod to a computer
A few months ago I almost had a heart attack. Not really, but I felt like to have one when my hard drive crashed and my entire music collection (in billions of dollars) went with him.
I was relieved somewhat when I thought about the fact that most of my music on my iPod Touch has been hard. Once I have my new computer, I downloaded iTunes and planned to download my music back to the new computer. I was shocked when I learned that iTunes has an option to sync to my iPod to iTunes. iTunes does not permit me to transfer data in a way – the iTunes library on your iPod and vice-versa. This was simply not an option I'm sure you understand.
There is no doubt I was frustrated beyond belief at this time because I thought I could lose all my music seriously. In fact, I considered buying a new iPod, so it would never synchronize the former, but finally relented.
After a period of retreat, I began researching other options. I called the local computer repair guy. They had no value. I made a phone call the computer store where I bought my PC and do not help either.
Then I turned to my friend Yahoo (yes, I am one the few people out there who prefer Yahoo to Google). I quickly read a couple of tutorials for transferring music to a computer. Although gave me hope, it was simply too afraid to try all the techniques because I thought I saw everything.
I found the solution when I discovered a software called Lenogo iPod to PC Transfer. It was exactly what I wanted. A free demo version is still possible for me to try before you buy anything. Without a moment's reflection, I downloaded the demo version, it is installed on my computer and fired up.
After that, I plugged the USB cable from my iPod Touch to the computer. In the interface Lenogo, I could see all the songs and even video playlists on my iPod. Then I selected a new folder on my desktop where I wanted to copy my songs and click the button to start the transfer. In about 15 to 20 minutes I was done. All data on my computer and ready to employment.
My next step is to run iTunes and import songs and playlists back to iTunes library and then synchronize with my iPod. It was really a piece of cake. If you're in a situation Also, do not panic. All is not lost!
