How can you stop having a panic attack?

I have generalized anxiety disorder and disturbance panic, and recently I had panic attacks serious reality. came to the point where I avoid it. I go to therapy for nearly five years. I try to tell me that nothing bad will happen to me, but I just worry more. I also tried some breathing techniques abdomen. Other suggestions? Thank you for your responses. Sometimes I feel as if only one suffering from this, but it's really reassuring to know that other experienced it.

I taught one of my nurses when I was in a nursing home last year with an average to stop my panic attacks and the measure has worked for me every time. He told me to take a slow breath and continue to breathe through the nose, as I could until I could not take more air …….. then a break more. She said to keep it as long as I could and then let out slowly …. As far as I could leave out ……… then let out a breath more. She told me to do at least 8-10 times. As I said, worked for me and I hope it works for you. Good luck.
