overcome panic attack? Please help.

My husband had a panic attack today. is rare, and they have always happened in the past two years. He missed a couple of days of work this week and hopes of catching up to do work today and was then attacked and entirely physical disability. He felt a slight relapse attack throughout the day, and would not go the doctor (and do not think he should get up at all). I'm going home tonight after they get off work and I need advice on what takes to help calm down, get a good night and be ready tomorrow. Thansk!

I was hospitalized for seizures panic at times, and the best thing for me is to do the same thing if you are unconscious (BTW). Put a cold compress on the back of the neck and wrists and sit down.
