OCD and Relationships: overcoming difficulties
For some, OCD and relationships simply do not go together. They say that either OCD destroys the the relationship and the relationship of OCD worse. This is a legitimate concern, and much easier to declare by outsiders an obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
Remember me saw a person who consumes a considerable amount of time to ensure that or she has really turned out the light? Or have you spent hours in just to locking the door before going to bed? Or maybe your beloved who perpetually pizza cooking in the microwave, making sure it is really well done? These symptoms may indicate that a person suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Recent advances in medical research indicates that the problem lies in the deterioration of the patient amygdala, the center of the human brain basic emotions, including fear. In general, the patient is conscious or irrationality of their behavior. The victim may or may not be aware that something is wrong or that irrationality is a disease in itself.
The amygdala of the person with OCD is estimated to misbehave. When the patient is under attack, this "feeling" is taught to shoot center sign of danger too. Until that this part of the brain had ceased, the victim does not receive – or are met – that light is actually completely stopped, for example – but more probably it is rational to understand that it is on. People with OCD can not Instead, rely on perceptual information as they perform a particular task. This means that once the light went out, the only rational thing to happen is that the light off.
The question now is, what if this person is your girlfriend or wife, boyfriend or husband or the same. This behavior scenario While a bit strange tension in a relationship. Is it useful? Do you have OCD and relationships really?
Like the amygdala, the relationship does not suffer from OCD sufferer is always on the verge of an irregular heartbeat. The patient does not feel uncomfortable or awkward constantly trying to understand behavior especially the screen.
On the other side of reality is the victim of an obsessive-compulsive disorder, which greatly need for support staff who feels able to understand. Or maybe you feel a high degree of despair, knowing that their relatives were really struggling to understand them.
In this perspective, both OCD and those without OCD. Multiply a unique example of this Friction between the people and we have a glimpse of how difficult it is for those people who like to continue their relationship. The pressure is immense, both the parties.
But taken from a different perspective, living with the person with OCD can be a blessing. A stable relationship can be obsessive-compulsive opportunity to reflect on things we deem important, things that we cherish. This relationship not only to question our traditional understanding of the relationship love, but they encourage us to understand the meaning of a committed relationship.
Why? Because living with a person suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder usually occurs even during active treatment. This implies the acceptance of challenges and discomfort, physical or emotional. But after all, we must all face the challenges of health and relationships from time to time. And – what is life without problems?

What is the treatment for OCD?
I received a lot of intrusive thoughts. I wan't to be. You'll never take of life, because I constantly think negative and doubts .. Is what I can do for you can tolerate until my appointment comes. My appointment is to take until June 30 and it is difficult for me to treat OCD.
I have OCD as well. It used to be really bad when I was young, after I wash hands 100 times a day, or if bad things happen. One way I dealt with it is not slow to give intrusive thoughts. Be strong. It is unclear, but it becomes easier over time. You should know that if we give them the thoughts that time. I do not give into the thoughts, perhaps occasionally, but I'm working on it. Do not let my thoughts control me. You do not have to check the door 10 times to see if your key or a flashing light on and off to get rid thoughts. The truth is that you can not control the future and once the exception that gradually disappear. If something bad is going to happen its going to happen, no matter how many times you wash your hands or whatsoever. If I can not control the future and it helped me a lot and has come to an obsessive-compulsive disorder in steep decline. Hope this helps. Not giving in to their thoughts, be strong. You can do it.
