I get nocturnal panic attacks sometimes. Anything work to reduce them?
My main problem is bipolar disorder, and I don’t ever have panic attacks in the daytime (well, I did as a side effect of antidepressants). Pills have been a long running disaster for me for several years, so on the advice of several physicians, I gave up with them a couple years ago, and my symptoms of depression have overall improved quite remarkably, albeit I’m still very depressed. I practice a LOT of anti-anxiety skills, but meditation, hot baths, and so on don’t help when I’m SLEEPING! I eat healthy, exercise, avoid caffeine after noon, all that good stuff I should be doing.
Anybody found a way to reduce nocturnal panic attacks, specifically?
Start taking Holy Basil (health food store) every day. Also one hour before bed take 3 mg of melatonin, 400 mg of magnesium citrate, 400 mg of calcium citrate along with some protein and carbs.
