Depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress Disorder … are these diseases?

Hello, I request disability … I suffered from the separation depression, post traumatic stress disorder and chronic anxiety. I do not know if I am eligible. Is it considered as diseases? I know that many people take these issues lightly, think it's just a way to pay disability … I wish I could work on mine, but these problems I have a lot of energy and time, the more I go to school full time. People make fun of these diseases, may seem insignificant, but many understand that it's shit, and that these diseases are cancers etc..

The next time someone fun of his mental illness, just ignore it. Just concentrate on getting your disabilities or appropriate medication, so you can make face. (I wanted something different advice, but not the act of love)
