I can receive SSI for GAD (GAD).?

I have been suffering from generalized anxiety disorder has long and is now very controlled only by medication just want to know that I can apply for SSI, which is the point where the work is so bad that I can not.

If you can present medical evidence that generalized anxiety disorder can not be adequately controlled for drugs that you can not work, then you may be eligible for SSI. I have not seen anyone receive SSI for GAD, but it does not mean you can not do. Have you been to a therapist? Good luck, Dana (mental health workers)
